If you pour yourself out for the hungry and satisfy the desire of the afflicted, then shall your light rise in the darkness and your gloom be as the noonday. Isaiah 58:10 (ESV)
Teams
Short-term mission teams serve as an effective method of supporting and augmenting the ongoing work in the countries where BMDMI serves.
Team members can serve alongside members of our local churches to aid in further reaching the people of a village with the Gospel, or help with construction projects that serve
as a springboard for new ministry opportunities. Teams also support other permanent BMDMI ministries like medical facilities, children's homes, Bible institutes or schools.
Remote Assist Teams
With the recent COVID-19 Pandemic, some teams have not been able to travel. As a result, we now offer a new type of team known as the "Remote Assist Team" that has worked very well in ensuring that ministry work continues.
A Remote Assist Team provides resources that allow our national staff and pastors to work in their place. So far, we have seen very positive results from this experience. It allows North Americans to continue to be involved in missions and
serves to empower our national staff and pastors to minister to their own people. National staff, when possible, send daily updates to the North American team members of the ministry work that is occurring.
COVID-19 Protocols
The COVID-19 virus has affected all of our lives and has greatly impacted our ministry efforts in Central America and Nepal. While there is still much uncertainty, teams are beginning to return to minister in these countries.
